Late yesterday evening I receive a very pleasant email surprise from American Muslim Mom. It seems Muslimahs Working at Home has been named among the Top 50 Blogs for Muslim Moms.
The very idea that this blog is counted among the other 50 blogs listed is humbling, but it’s also exciting to realize so many Muslimahs are blogging, spreading their messages online to a global audience and sharing a real life glimpse into a Muslimah’s world.
We are so much more than the stereotypes perpetuated through mainstream media. We are intelligent, creative, thoughtful, sensitive, funny, loyal, strong and as capable as anyone of reaching the goals we set for ourselves. Blogging is an important medium and I encourage readers to please continue supporting Muslimah bloggers and Muslimah-owned businesses.
Muslimahs Working at Home was created to provide women with a financial alternative to earning an income outside of the home. Our objective is to share resources and tools necessary to operate a successful, home-based business.
