About two weeks ago Muslimahs Working at Home got its own Facebook page. I get excited each time someone takes time to“like” the page. My number of likes is growing slowly but surely, alhamdullilah. I’m new to promoting this site on Facebook, so I’ve had to conduct a bit of research to find tips for how I can increase the amount of Facebook likes for my page. Here’s what I’ve learned so far:
- Engage your audience by sharing high quality content is the best way to engage with readers. According to the advice I’ve come across, you need to add content that your target audience will find interesting enough to read and (hopefully) comment on or like. Share blog posts, links to the latest news, video and more.
- Invite friends to see your new page. There’s a handy little feature on your Facebook page that allows you to invite as many friends to view your page as you like.
- Let your email subscribers know about your new page. If you regularly send out email notifications to your subscriber list, be sure to let them know about your Facebook page, and invite them to “like” you. Also, include a link to your page in every correspondence.
- Join Facebook groups in your area of interest. Share a relevant link to drive traffic to your Facebook page.
- Offer everyone who “likes” you page a free gift (a report , sample, etc.)
If you’ve been on Facebook for a while, share what you’ve been doing to increase the number of likes your page receives .
