Muslimah Business Spotlight: Khalidah Abdul-Muqtadir, Avon Representative

There are lots of sisters who want the freedom and ability to earn an income that comes with being an entrepreneur, but don’t necessarily wish to start a brand new business that needs to be built from the ground up. The great thing about Avon is that you get whatever you put into it, but you’re not losing money if you take your time in order to build up a good customer list, so no there aren’t any monthly goals to reach, but if you have the where with all, there are personal goals you can reach. You can try to make President’s Club, which comes with cool perks and bonuses, and you can try your best to become a Unit Leader by recruiting and helping others to become Representatives. ”

There are many misconceptions, but put them out of your mind. There’s nothing better than paying only $10 to start being your own boss. Like I stated before, you get what you put into it, and that’s what having a business is all about. You are responsible for building it and making it what you want it to be.
